KAD Construction, Inc. opened its doors in November 1996 as a certified Woman Owned commercial electrical contracting company. Since that date, we have completed construction projects in many different areas, including commercial, municipal, educational, and historic renovation. By insisting upon quality work completed in a timely fashion, we keep projects done on schedule and budget. We have 30 honest and hardworking employees, most of whom have been with us for five to six years. We strive to surpass your expectations, beat the earliest deadline, and perform quality work.
We are four-time winners of the Presidential Award for Outstanding Safety and four times have received Certificates of Commendation for an excellent safety record. The AGC presents these awards for having a safety record 25% below the division incident rate and having zero lost time due to injuries or work-related illness.
Knowing that employees want to grow and learn, we also participate in the Carolina Association for General Contractors’ apprentice program. We use the nearby Wake Tech campus for training and then team our apprentices up with skilled electricians working in the field for years. Educating our employees expands their knowledge base and ensures we have well-trained employees.
